My name is Andrew Claudio, and it is time to preview another Knicks playoff matchup,

and this time it is the Atlanta Hawks in the three six matchup in the first round of the

2026 East playoffs. I didn't do a pregame pod for the game a week and a half ago wondering if I

would just be having another one when the Knicks play the Hawks in the first round. I also did do one

for the Raptors for the exact same reason. And as I mentioned on the watch-along turned post-game show on Sunday when John and I watched

the fourth quarter of Magic against the Celtics, it was less about that I was begging for the

Raptors because it would be an easy first-round opponent, which I was kind of doing that.

I already had some content planned with some Raptors people because I thought the magic would

take care of business. Lesson learned. Don't count on the Atlanta magic, the Orlando magic.

But instead we get the Hawks, and it'll be a good test for the Knicks. And I've seen the argument

out there. It's a good tune-up for the Knicks ahead of what would be a tough series against the Celtics.

Well, they're going to have to break a sweat and win this series and earn within this series against an Atlanta Hawks team.
