Knicks last night. It was an annoying loss in the sense that I feel like the Knicks

should be beating the Celtics every time with the situation that they're in. I mean, honestly,

and I hate the Celtics. We all hate the Celtics. And Jalen Brunson was just not himself. It was

the Battle of the Jalens and Jalen Brown was a hell of a lot better than Jalen Brunson was last

night. And McHale Bridges and Carl Anthony Towns

picked up the slack as much as they could

but after jumping out to a big start

on a four game winning streak and all that

stuff you know you've got

the you know Jalen Brown going nuts after that

and never really be able to catch up

their rebounding wasn't as good

second chance points for the Celtics that's really what it came down to, you know, blip on the radar in the grand scheme of things because Jalen Brunson's not going to have nights like this against big opponents a lot. So I'm not going to go nuts over it. But, you know, after the winning streak they had, beaten the Raptors the way they did, and coming out in the first quarter, I was thinking they were going to run them out of their own building last night. Yeah, you know, these seasons are so long. I mean, this is a loss in the early part of December. I mean, I don't even talking about it later on. It's the same thing with the Rangers. I mean, like, Rangers look great one night. They're off the next night.

The Knicks go on a nice little run, and then all of a sudden they lose to a team they shouldn't lose to. And really, and we often talk about it in the NBA. I mean, look, how many guys are the Knicks missing? How many guys are the Rangers missing? How many guys are the Islanders missing? Everybody's hurt, these condensed schedules, especially for hockey, leading into the

Olympics, is, I think, driving a lot of this injury. And I wonder if anybody, I'm assuming

the league has probably got to be doing a study on this because it's killing the product.

Well, it's also, you know, this is a world baseball classic year, too. Yeah, exactly. It's another

thing. God, Kodai Seng is pitching for Japan.

We ain't going to see him if we don't trade him. Remember, it was Edwin Diaz, who still isn't signed,

that, you know, basically started off that season just on a really, really weird and bad note,

you know, back in, what, 2023? Yeah. You speak about one of the big stories in professional sports last night. The Clippers decided to dump First Paul in the middle of the night. In the middle of the night, yeah. Yeah, just, I mean, now he's at the end of his career. I think that, you know, he declared it was going to be his last year, I think, going into this thing. But, I mean, that thing fell apart quick. Now, I wasn't paying a total attention to it prior to that. But, yeah, that's... Do you know who the president of basketball operations is for the Clippers? Lawrence Frank. Oh, yeah, of course, yeah. Yeah, so he put out a statement saying we are parting ways with Chris will no longer be with the team.

We will work with him on the next step of his career, whatever that is.
