Even a Knicks hater had to admit it: watching New York go into Philadelphia and smack the Sixers around was flat out fun. And save the “Embiid didn’t play” talk, because that is the story of the Sixers. If your whole plan hinges on a guy who never seems available, you are not a real postseason threat.
The Knicks deserved credit for showing up tough in the final game before the All Star break, with Jose Alvarado bringing edge and the whole team playing more physical, more direct, and way less whiny.
