I will give you a few observations on the Knicks victory. Number one, it was never in doubt.

There was never a point in this game in which you were fearful that this would end badly.

And a part of that was the Knicks for 48 minutes played well.

And a lot of times throughout the regular season, even in wins, there would be halves where they wouldn't play well.

Right.

There'd be quarters where they didn't play well, usually the first sometimes. They would come out flat. That was never really the case. Like I thought from top the bottom rotation wise, one through eight or one through nine, I guess technically, I thought everybody played well. Yeah. And I love that in the first quarter. Cat was basically irrelevant offensively in the first quarter, but he didn't allow that to derail him mentally, right? Like he got in the rhythm of the game, second quarter, third quarter. His points end up coming in, you know, at the end, the total's right there with Brunson. But I really like that part of it. And also something CP had mentioned was on Friday, how about getting bridges involved early? He ends up hitting those threes. It's the first shot of the game. I thought all that play, Caden, and the Knicks really just played the perfect

complimentary basketball.

And Towns played very well defensively.

Part of that, and I think we talked about this on Friday with CP, is they had Cat on Dyson

Daniels, which allowed Towns the freedom to roam.

And he became kind of a, like, an X-f factor defensively, which you never really see.

Mike Brown had the right game plan for this report.

And the other game plan that he had, I was so happy about this.

So go back to last year because a lot of these things you only really talk about during the

playoffs, not as much the postseason, one of which being Hackamich.

Because you're not seeing that as much in the regular season, nor are you going crazy about every second and every possession. So last year, when Mitchell Robinson was hacked, to me, there was a very simple solution, and that was have Mitch start quarters. Right. So that, A, make the opponent, if they want to give fouls early, give them early. You're not going to the line

immediately. You're going to get your team in the bonus. And then eventually when you take Mitch out, because you got in the bonus early, now you're going to feast at the free throw line. Yes. Put him at the beginning of quarters. And we didn't see Tibbs make that adjustment last year. Mike Brown made that adjustment. And that's the game plan. They have to play with Mitchell Robinson. Okay. You want to foul them? Cool. We're going to have them start quarters, so you have to give us some freebies, and eventually we're going to take advantage of that by getting to the free throw line. Because teams are going to do it. Atlanta did it a little bit in game one. We're going to see more of it. We're going to see Joe Mozilla do it in the second round of the playoffs because God knows that series is inevitable.

And that's the way you respond to it.

I guess they are my Charlotte prediction because remember I said Charlotte would scare Detroit. Meanwhile, they got blown out of the gym on Friday. They never even got off the bus on front.
