Clutzes. What are the worst injuries you've sustained doing a basic task?

0:05.0

I dislocated my knee, putting socks on. I was standing near the foot of my bed and was doing a balancing act putting the socks on.

0:13.0

When I went to put my right leg back down, my pants leg somehow got stuck on the footboard of my bed.

0:19.0

My jeans somehow decided to rip and my knee moved in a way

0:22.5

it was never intended to. I'm definitely a klutz and tend to find myself in weird situations like this

0:28.3

far too often. I got out of bed a few weeks ago and turned my ankle. I tore every ligament and have to

0:35.0

use crutches now. Laughing with a friend of mine at Dairy Queen.

0:39.3

I laughed so hard because he pulled out a Johnny instead of money and he thought everyone saw him,

0:44.3

so I burst into gut-wrenching laughter, apparently rupturing my L4-L5-S-1 vertebrae, requiring immediate surgery.

0:53.3

Tore my ACL and meniscus in my right knee while pulling

0:57.3

my pants up, changing in the locker room after swim practice. It took two surgeries and six

1:02.4

months of recovery to get back to normal, because of pants. I was sitting on a couch. There was a blanket

1:09.1

on the floor barely covering my feet.

1:11.5

While seated, I leaned forward to pull the blanket onto myself. I pulled a muscle in my back

1:16.3

and was out of work for four days. I broke my collarbone after accidentally rolling onto the floor

1:22.5

off a bunk bed. It was the bottom bunk. My brothers and I shared a room until I was about nine. As the youngest,

1:29.7

I was usually assigned the top bunk. At one point, I woke up face down, on the floor,

1:34.7

with a nice crusty pool of blood in the carpet about the size of my face. Some time throughout the

1:39.8

night I'd fallen off the bunk and nearly broken my nose, but simultaneously knocked myself out from the

1:45.3

impact. Rather than get a railing, my dad built a custom bunk bed with three bunks, like an L-shaped

1:51.7

desk with two levels, and I was assigned one of the lower beds. My middle brother ended up jumping

1:57.0

off the top bunk into the lower bunk quite often. Once he jumped too far and broke his nose
