Hey, thanks for checking in with the podcast. I wanted to give you a really short update here on the event that we're having on Wednesday or we're having on Wednesday at Milburn Country Club with Dr. Prasant Reddy and Steve Howe, both running for office and some other area politicians that will be running on your ballot. We are postponing the event on Wednesday as Dr. Reddy, who's running for Congress in the third district in Kansas,

against Sheree Davids, lost his mother on Sunday evening. And they're obviously going to be

with family this week. And he's postponing many of the events that he had on his campaign schedule,

including the one that we have on Wednesday night. We didn't think it would be the right

thing to do going forward with the event without Dr. Reddy, who was the big reason so many people were going to be coming, wanting to meet the man

that is running for Congress and maybe exchange some ideas and get to know him just a little bit.

We want to pass along our very best to Dr. Reddy. I've not spoken with him. I've spoken to his campaign

manager, Dustin, today, who was very surprised. He said he got to call at 11 o'clock last night,

Sunday night, from Dr. Reddy, about what had happened. It was not sudden. She had been apparently

of declining health, maybe over the last few months, but then it got apparently really serious

in the last week. And the next few days, I think he's rescheduling pretty much everything

that he's doing and spending some family time, as we would all understand.

So I think I've emailed back, if not everyone, most of the people that RSVPed to me individually.

But I just wanted to put this out there on the regular podcast page for everyone to hit the play button and understand that the event has

been postponed. But we really appreciate you checking in and, you know, considering coming to

an event like this was going to be a very interesting night. Ron Buck, I spoke with him earlier

today. And he's going to try to reschedule for a different day in the next couple of weeks to do it.

So we'll see how that happens and if that comes to fruition. We'd certainly like to have the event. Many of you were

very interested in doing this because you'd never done anything quite like this or been to an event

like that. So we'll see how it plays out over the next couple of weeks, but our best to Dr.

Prasant Reddy and his family.

And we look forward to helping support his campaign as we go forward.
