Summary

The Kansas City Chiefs are currently in negotiations with NASCAR and the state of Kansas to acquire land just west of Kansas Speedway for a potential new domed stadium.     Multiple sources confirm with KKHI that a land acquisition agreement is the final piece the Chiefs need in place to make a decision on whether to build a new stadium or renovate Arrowhead again.  We have all the details of what is a very high level, high stakes negotiation.     Then, some good and some bad in the NFL on Sunday for the Chiefs playoff picture.  Trump has quite a day at the Lions/Commanders game. KU and MU lose in opposite fashions Saturday and the Senate is close to re-opening the federal government.   And veterans, listen up.  Tuesday is Veterans Day and veteran Chris Benson  from www.thrivemediakc.com joins us to talk about service to country and some amazing deals just for veterans on Tuesday.   Our Final Final is the spookiest lottery story ever.

confirm through multiple sources that the Kansas City Chiefs are in negotiations with NASCAR and the

say the chiefs have not committed to building the stadium yet, but the details of the ownership

or the lease of the land would need to be agreed upon before they make a final decision.

According to a report last week by my partner Pete Mundo at KCMO Talk Radio, the chiefs are planning

to build if they select Kansas,

a 65,000 seat stadium with a roll-in, rollout grass field with entertainment and multi-use

facilities in the surrounding area. In this deal, Kansas Speedway would share parking and other

amenities, but at this time, the NASCAR-owned facility has no plans to create any new businesses

outside their current model at Kansas Speedway. There had been rumblings that maybe the entire

1:17.5

property was for sale, and they were pulling NASCAR out of Kansas City. I've absolutely

1:22.0

confirmed that that is not the case. NASCAR is very happy in Kansas City and at Kansas Speedway.

They obviously would welcome the Chiefs as a neighbor for the right price. They're basically

selling the land to the Chiefs or the State of Kansas, however, they work on the purchase

lease if that's what they decide to do. Get this. They're also building a new hotel by

Hollywood Casino. That's part of the deal. We believe the
