Let's begin the show. Dr. Brant spent his final days in Miami. Though he typically split his time

in the final days in Miami. Though he typically split his time between the sunshine state and New York,

Miami was where he felt more at ease with his surroundings.

He loved to take long walks with his dogs, even on the hottest days, dressed in lightweight fabrics and a white sun hat.

At the dermatology meeting in San Francisco, he had gone through the motions and fulfilled his obligations. But without the expectations

of an adoring audience, he withdrew into himself. He continued his daily yoga sessions

with his instructor Carl, but for the first time in 10 years he let himself

linger in Chivasina. Shivasina is the last part of the practice, a meditative

moment during which the body and mind are finally still.
