I sent Gregory a photograph which I had from, I believe, the financial times of a dish

that said to be King Charles's favorite involving risotto rice from the Po River Valley.

I was keen on it because the Po is now struggling with the drought and the risotto crop is

at risk.

So you think is the King going to get his favorite dish when he arrives at Wilton's?

And then, because I sent it on to Gregory, he said he can introduce me to Wilton's.

The menu looks exotic, Gregory, but it's a gathering place I take it of the powerful

and formerly powerful, favored by the King.

Is that correct?

Well, the dish is favored by the King.

I've never actually seen him there even when he was a humble Prince of Wales, but I know

that it's just his sort of place.

The food is exquisite.

They tend to have a lot of seafood where you can get dovesol for probably 80 or 100 pounds

a dish with a company via good hot course, a turn or whatever you like.

And it's going to be absolutely exquisite.

And of course, if the King wanted to go there, he could also pop across the road to Turnbull

and Assah, one of his suppliers of clothing, particularly blazers and the like and ties,

because this is a wonderful little area called German Street, which is the shirt making

capital, if you like, or the center of London.
