acceptance. Now radical acceptance is firmly rooted in Buddhist philosophy, but it's also a key part of dialectical behavior therapy or DBT.

Now radical acceptance, I've often talked about acceptance in the case of acceptance

and commitment therapy and this is very much similar to that first step of act, except for it's radical, or in Kimberly's own words, it's

It's sort of almost taking true ownership of it and as we talk about in the podcast it becomes quite an empowering act.

You're not just on the fence, you're not a bystander, you're taking charge of this thing.
