Everyone knows drinking and driving is dangerous. The mothers against drunk driving have done an amazing job through the years to make sure

everyone knows that. Now on a cold snowy night in Massachusetts, Karen Reed was out drinking with her boyfriend.

She was driving and prosecutors say when she dropped him off, she struck him with the back of her SUV.

and what you're about to see are some of the most important moments from that

program as I investigate the tragic death of officer John O'Keefe.

They show up wearing pink, some of them holding signs. They line the streets cheering on a woman named Karen Reed. She's not a celebrity, she's not a celebrity. She's not a war hero.

She's a college professor accused of murdering a Boston police officer named John O'Keefe.

John and Karen were a couple who were practically living together,

but on the night of January 28th going into the early mornings of the 29th,

they were out together. First at CF McCarthy's in downtown Canton, Massachusetts, then at the Waterfall

Bar. And finally, inside Karen's SUV in front of Brian Albert's house, who having an after party with a bunch of the folks who were at the waterfall.

The big question is, what happened to John O'Keefe after he stepped out of Karen's car.

Prosecutors say she backed over him on purpose
