his parents considered him more vulnerable than other 21-year-olds. Christopher was diagnosed with

both dyslexia and a form of autism, Asperger's syndrome, though this was only diagnosed by a

psychiatrist after he committed the crime.

The combination of the two contributed to difficulties at school and socialising.
