Really, really, really, really excited and proud to present today's interview to you, which, as you have seen already from the title of the episode, is with former Nick Channing Fry.

So, Channing for maybe our younger fans who not know, is someone who was drafted by the Knicks over a decade and a half ago.

He was drafted by Isaiah Thomas, who was a gentleman that used to play basketball and then came to run our basketball team and did not do such a great job at that. But

Channing Fry was actually one of his good moves. Fry played two years here with the

Knicks. We talk a lot about that in the interview. And although they were not two of the

better years in the history of the franchise. He was good, especially as a

rookie when he was named to the all rookie team and had a stretch in the beginning of his rookie

year, especially where it looked like he was going to be a cornerstone for years to come.

Unfortunately, good old Isaiah got a little itchy, itchy finger there and traded Channing out to Portland to bring back Zach Randolph, who would later be salary dumped in an attempt to sign LeBron James in the summer of 2010 and on and on we go.

Lots of bad moves in the last 20 years.

And trading away Frye was one of them.

He went on to have a really,

really nice career at several stops,

notably in Phoenix,

where the Sun's kind of,

as he talks about on this podcast,

unlocked who he could be as a pro.
