Coming at you on a Wednesday, a game day, as it were.

The Nicks are playing the Detroit Pistons tonight when you're

hearing this. I believe the Pistons will be without Cade Cunningham and Killian Hayes. So

it takes whatever pizzazz was going to be there for this game right out of it. But the

Knicks are good. And they have been playing well.

And that is one of the many reasons why the conversation I had on today's podcast was a treat because it was all talking about mostly good stuff.

And that conversation, of course, is with the new beat reporter for the athletic covering the New York Knicks, Fred Katz.

So Fred Katz is actually a returning guest.

You heard him on the show at some point last season.

We had him on, I think, when the Knicks were playing the Wizards a couple times.

I think they played them back to back, if I recall.

We talked about the team when he was covering Washington at that time.

We talked about Bradley Beale.

We had a great conversation.

And as I told Fred after we stopped recording, I just have to say, as I mean, Vork is as much as we, I joke with him

sometimes, Vork is amazing. Mike Vorkenov is as gifted a writer as there is covering, or that was

covering a team, you know, today. And I can't wait to see what he comes up with next at the

athletic. But that said, when I found out that it was going to be Fred Katz now covering the Knicks for the athletic, I was thrilled.

Because Fred is also as good as they come.
