Hey there, Nix fans. How you doing? It's your boy, John of the Macri, with you for another episode of the Nix Film School podcast. Oh boy. This one was fun. I mean, they'll get me wrong. i love every episode i record uh i love every guest

that we are lucky enough to have on but uh chris herring i mean what more can you say about

chris herring um obviously covered the team when he was with the wall street journal

he provided a different brand of coverage, a different, a unique spin, I would say, on your typical NBA coverage of a team that I still miss to this day.

And I think anyone who read Chris still misses.

And obviously, since then, he's gone on to do

great stuff with 538 and now with Sports Illustrated. You know, but it's impossible for me anytime

I think of Chris to not kind of reminisce about the days that he was covering this team full time

and obviously missed them. So it was an honor to have Chris Herring on for this episode.

An episode that is inching us ever closer to episode number 400, which I have been hinting at for a little while.

And that is because, well, I know who's going to be on for it. And I'll just, again, say it's going to be a pretty good one.

But I digress. So Chris Herring came on today to talk about a couple of things. One, he has a new book that is coming out in January.

We did not get into the substance of the book because we're going to actually have him on again.

That's the plan at least when the book comes out.
