Coming at you at a little bit of an abnormal time.

We're dropping this episode late in the afternoon, early in the evening on what day is today is Tuesday.

So free agency is set to kick off about 49 hours from now, I think.

I'm pretty sure something along those lines.

Why are we dropping it early?

Because news is dropping fast and furious and we want to make sure that nothing that was said today with today's

guests, Fred Katz, the one and only Fred Katz of the Athletic, who was kind enough to join

us at this point on about a monthly basis.

We want to make sure that that stays relevant and nothing becomes irrelevant because,

you know, nobody needs irrelevant podcasts.

To that end, I should share a couple of tweets that just dropped.

First and foremost, give credit to Mark Stein, who writes great newsletter on Substack,

who wrote that there is growing resignation in Dallas sources say that the Knicks are indeed

Brunson's top choice and it is inevitable destination. And then literally one minute, as I'm

recording this, this dropped one minute ago, it is widely anticipated that Jalen Brunson will go to

the Knicks on a four-year deal in excess of $100 million.

It remains to be seen how New York will clear the rest of the necessary cab space and whether the cabs can work a sign and trade to recoup assets.
