What's up guys? Andrew Claudio here with a quick programming note. This is part two of three

of our special cap or no cap. Resign or don't resign Mitchell Robinson. In part one,

John and Jeremy went through some of the analytics and some of the stats of Mr. Robinson,

the type of player that he is. There's a myth about stretch fives that Jeremy

found on Reddit that I thought was really cool. And he kind of buried the lead as to the person

who put this theory out on Reddit and where that person works now. So I think you, if you haven't

heard it yet, go check it out. In part two, you're going to get some of the other available centers

and how Mitch compares to the cream of the crop that's out there at center. So if not Mitch Robinson,

Okay. And other teams are thinking that way too.

And when you look at the rim frequency for the players that the Knicks had this year, this past season, Mitchell Robinson was first overall. Jericho Sims was second. Neurals

was 32nd and Taj Gibson was 58. Again, that's out of 111 players. And by rim frequency,

what am I meaning? Well, it's that the vast majority of their shots are taken squarely at the

rim, right? And then if you go back a year

earlier, Mitch was still first overall. He took the most amount of shots of any bigs, probably

of any player in the NBA period, at the rim. New Orleans was 19th and Taj was 23rd. So they were,

there was more of a rim frequency that past season than there was the most recent

one. And like, again, here's Mitch, right? 100th percentile in rim frequency every single

year of his career. And I'm convinced that like the, the, whatever record keeping suggests that he

took two or three or five or whatever.
