a train rolling by, and I welcome Selina Zito of the Washington Examiner,

the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, the New York Post, and other distinguished publications

that are writing most recently of the events that followed that 9pm clock

as the train rolled by in East Palestine,

Columbia, on a county, Ohio.

Selina, your story at the Free Press is both encouraging because of the durability of this region,

but also reminds me that the history here includes many bad days in the late 20th century,

and now here's a very bad day in the tree.

First, you're reporting on the ground.

You spoke to many of the people who lived there in East Palestine,

and many appeared to be ready to ride it out,

but the questions that have not been answered overwhelm the questions that have been answered.
