This is CBSI in the world. I'm John Bachelor with my colleagues, Selina Zeecho, the Pittsburgh

Post Gazette, the Washington Examiner. She was short, some middle of somewhere column,

and the New York Post. Selina, congratulations. She wrote a column saying, the president

has not visited East Palestine or Hawaii, and soon enough, the White House announces

the president's office way to Hawaii. Passing over East Palestine, but that's not the

point. What have you observed about the disconnect between the Biden White House and national

catastrophes? Well, I think to anyone that is sort of even minded about politics is that

one of the attributes that Joe Biden possessed, or at least it was advertised that he possessed,

was his empathy, right? This is the man that we talked about for years who lost his wife

and daughter in a car accident before he was even sworn in as a senator in 1972, 1973. This

is a man who lost his son, Bo, and so he was, you know, and he talked about it eloquently.

And before he ran for president and while he ran for president, and so the selling point

on Biden is he is more empathetic than the other guy. In fact, you know, he had an entire

ad dedicated to, I'm more empathetic than the other guy. However, that has not been the

pattern of behavior out of the president has been the exact opposite. In particular, I find

it very interesting with working class or service people. So what do I mean? Well, let's talk

about Afghanistan. It took over a week for the president to acknowledge the deadly chaos

that resulted in the death of 13 service members. He didn't speak about that for a week.

And when he did, he didn't even say, sorry, which was incredibly peculiar. In fact, he

gave a speech where he was incredibly defiant, angry about his decision to leave Afghanistan.

And the point was never, I think that the white house mist was the point was never that

people didn't want the country to leave Afghanistan. The point was the people wanted the
