We're talking about Notre Dame's defense and the keys to victory for what I said earlier in the show is what I think is one of, if not the hottest unit in college football right now.

I mean, who would have thought that back in September, after that Purdue game,

we were talking about a defense that ranks 12th in the country in points per game,

22nd and yards per game, 14th and yards per play, ninth in yards per rush,

31st in yards per attempt, first in interceptions.

I mean, the defensive turnaround has been really,

really impressive, and they need to finish on a high note against Stanford. Carry that momentum

into the playoffs. Yeah, I mean, this, this, it is. It's the same thing we kind of talked about last

week.

You don't want to develop any bad habits because you're playing an inferior opponent. You want to keep playing at a high level. And I'm a lot less concerned about that

based on what we saw last week. Because if you came out locked in against Syracuse,

you're going to come in locked against Stanford because as bad as, Stanford, we talk about how Stanford is on offense and they're not good on offense.

They're a better offense than what the one they faced last week is.

Looking at Syracuse without Steve Angelly, without some of the, you know, they're running back.

Willis was out. This is a more dangerous offense than that one. And if you're ready for that, then you're going to be ready for this one. But it's just about, look, keep doing what you're doing, right? That's going to be a big thing. Stay locked in, keep scheming up things well. Frank Reich's a good play caller.

I mean, you watch Stanford play.

There's stuff there sometimes.

The quarterback doesn't see it.

The line can't protect it.

And what I mean is there's stuff there,

schematically, there's opportunities for things to be there.
