There's a few nuggets I think we need to get into first.

Crock we haven't talked about this report that came out about the second round pick and then now it's kind of being debunked about the whole

Jimmy Garopolo second round pick thing.

And Ian Rappaport, I think it was, who said it wasn't a thing that was officially offered,

and then Seth Wickersham himself, who wrote the book that the excerpt came from, said,

yeah, I didn't say there was an official offer.

I said that they talked about it and here's actually the official

quote so it was not an official offer the way that he words it in the book and I

want to get this out there because this is important to have it exact. He said there was an informal call

between high-level representative of the Patriots and a high-level 49ers official. What was Gropolos Price? New England wondered if a second rounder would suffice,
