Summary

We kick off Season 3 of Hey Fightin' Podcast with the legendary No. 3 himself.

Kevin Faulk parlayed an All-American, record-setting career at LSU into a 13-year NFL career with the New England Patriots, where he played in five Super Bowls and won three. We sat down with Faulk ahead of a Super Bowl which will feature six former Tigers and a quarterback Faulk knows better than most.

After that conversation, we revisit a 2019 chat with Justin Jefferson, who is up for Rookie of the Year honors this weekend. It's a refreshing look back to a time when Jefferson was on the verge of a breakout few have ever matched -- from a two-star who some thought was a walk-on to a national champion and record-setting NFL rookie.

who we brought on this week for a very special reason. He played in a bunch of Super Bowl's, and it's Super Bowl week. He played in 5-1-3 with the New England Patriots. He has unique insight into what's the name of that quarterback that plays for the Buccaneers? I can't remember his name. but he played with Kevin Falk for a while. He's probably best known as being Kevin Falk's teammate,

It's also Rookie of the Year week in the NFL.

I think Saturday the NFL will announce the rookie of the year.

and Justin Herbert.

1:49.0

That would be the two guys with the best shot to win rookie of the year.

Hopefully, Justin brings the award home.
