0:25.2	Oh thank you I'm happy to be here. I would love for you to tell us what your journey was like
0:30.7	you were talking before we started the recording that you're
0:33.3	from a small town in northern Alberta Canada I said oh is it Edmonton which isn't
0:38.0	really a small town but that's the furthest thing now and you're like now an even
0:41.2	smaller town.
0:42.6	The journey that propelled you from there to Harvard.
0:46.7	Yeah, yeah, it was an unexpected journey
0:49.3	and it wasn't even a town.
0:50.4	I mean, we grew up half an hour outside of the small town.
0:53.2	The closest neighbor was about three or four miles away and so yeah just a really
0:57.6	remote area at a small farm and you know a lot of outdoor activities
1:01.8	because there wasn't there wasn't a whole lot else to do.
1:04.6	But you know it was a great place to grow up and you know the path to Harvard was basically
1:08.2	through education. I went to a small undergraduate school in Canada called University of Lethridge, which is in southern Alberta.
1:14.8	And you know at that time my passion I decided anyway at the time was really for teaching.
1:19.6	I really wanted to be a teacher.
1:21.2	Originally I wanted to be a high school teacher.
1:23.4	Oh.
1:23.9	And I did a undergrad in history and philosophy
