In the state of Texas, the Texas Republicans who control, just like here in Indiana, they control all the levers of government.

They are moving to do special redistricting.

Yeah, they proposed a new congressional map, which will help them ahead of next year's elections

because they want more to try to create more seats in the House of Representatives.

Look, both sides squawk about redistricting, which is how they carve out House seats, both at the state and Senate seats

at the state level and House seats at the U.S. House of Representatives level. Both sides crow

about this. They're both full of crap. They both, in whatever state they're in, attempt to

manipulate to the best of their ability, congressional districts, state house districts, Senate

districts. Indiana does it, Republican

State. New York does it. Democrat state. California does it. Democrat state. Texas does it,

Republican State. Whatever, whatever party's not in power cries about it, but then their states

where they're in power, they do it. Now, I will tell you this, and Casey, you will jot this down.

1107, it is Monday, August the 4th. I'm about to say something nice about Todd Roquita.

Are you ready for this? Yeah. When Todd Roquita used to behave like a normal human being,

like a respectable, decent, still mostly unlikable, but highly decent member of society.

He was the Indiana Secretary of State, and one of the things he attempted to do, and it actually

drew him a lot of heat, and he was quite courageous for wanting to do this, is he tried

to implement what was groundbreaking at the time, artificial intelligence into drawing the statehouse,

state senate, and congressional maps. He tried to take the human influence out of that and it got

him a ton of pushback at the time. It didn't go anywhere because the general assembly, the Republicans
