Apparently.

So there's a new opinion piece in the indie star written by James Briggs.

And the title of the article, The Braun Beckwith Plan to Abolish Carmel.

The Braun administration is turning the

suburbs into poster children for wasteful spending. Okay, so of course, and we like Briggs. He's been on

this show before. We don't agree with him on very much, but he's a nice enough guy, and we get along

with him fine. But, and he's very left in most of his pieces.

But so this article, he's basically going at Micah and Mike Braun because they have pointed out all of this grandiosean excess in communities across central Indiana, but certainly

Carmel is the poster child for this.

And they're saying, wait a second, you can't say that you're going to cut police or fire when you have, or teachers or whatever, when you have all this stuff, right?

You don't get to have a $58.5 million taxpayer funded hotel or a $55 million swimming pool or the reflexive pool or the palladium or the fake

people on the street or pay your top fire guy $271,000 and then claim we're going to get rid of

potentially rank and file public safety people you don't get to do that right we're we're done with

that scare tactic.

And of course, then old Spend and Sue went to that hearing, the Senate Bill 1 hearing,

and she did the fear-mongering doomsday scenario stuff.

And then, because we had the audacity to point out all of these things that they're spending money on in Carmel that could be cut or sold or whatever, they're not going to fire any police.
