It is the Kendall and Casey show. It's 93 WIBC. Rob Kendall has the day off. And in his place, Jim Roberts is in the studio. And over the weekend, Senator Rand Paul suggested that the Denver mayor pledged to resist Donald Trump's effort to deport illegal immigrants would be a form of insurrection.

However, he did say in this interview with Face the Nation that he opposes using the military for mass deportations.

He said he didn't think it's a good look.

If you send the army into New York and have 10,000

troops marching carrying semi-automatic weapons, he thinks it's a terrible image and he'll oppose that.

However, he does not oppose removing the people. He just doesn't want the military doing it.

And I agree with Rand Paul on this.

It is a bad look.

That's not what the military is designed to do.

Now, if you want to have them, you know, set up a perimeter and secure the streets for crowd control while ICE goes in and removes illegals, then that's something different.

But ICE needs to take the lead on this.

He said it's not a good look. It's a terrible image. It is a bad image. However, would you

rather have a bad image or would you rather things to continue the way they are?
