So Gallup, long time, well-known national pollster, asked people to describe their view of capitalism and socialism. And here is exactly how the question was worded.

following? Now, socialism came in at 39 percent. Favor favorable, which is tied for the all-time high.

It looks like 2012, 2018, 2025 at 39%.
