Look, I've told several people this over the past couple days.

I've said, we gave these lawmakers every opportunity to do the right thing.

The governor ran on meaningful property tax reform, specific agenda items that he wanted to accomplish.

Nobody raised their hand and said, I object.

In fact, a lot of these people were running with Braun on that.

Braun not only wins, he wins with a resounding mandate of 54% of voters saying,

we want property tax reform in this state.

He crafts a good, reasonable bill that was a compromise between, I think, people like me

who don't want property taxes at all and the people who want never-ending property tax increases.
