Kendall, you broke the news for me this morning at nine o'clock when you started the show.

Mitch Daniel says he won't run for Senate.

It's just not the job for me.

That's what he said announcing that putting an end to speculation on whether he would

run or not.

So now we know everybody is a big loser in this.

And you know, we joke about said, Oh, I need this for the show content, right?

The reality is we needed this because it would make both Jim banks and Mitch Daniels better

US senators.

The ballot access laws in Indiana are so rigged by design.

So unless you are an Uber wealthy or Uber connected person, it is almost impossible for a regular

human being to get on the ballot to run for US Senator or governor.

And thus we have seen over the past seven years when we have a Senator who does not fear

anyone who knows that no matter what he does, he'll likely be the only person that he won't

be challenged.
