And today we're going to talk about cults and brainwashing.

So Ken, welcome to the show. And we had a little bit of a conversation before you talked

about the Spanish flu. That was a big part of it. So why do you think that's important for people

to understand that history? Okay. Good. That's a good place to start. We've been told recently

that 100 million people died of the Spanish flu. However, the studies in the 1980s that were done

about the Spanish flu, 60 years, 70 years later, only said 50 million. The studies most

closely done about the Spanish flu, which were done in the early 20s, said 20 million.

So there has been this ever escalating death count from the Spanish flu. No autopsies to speak of were done during the Spanish

flu period. No real scientific work was done at the time. So the guess that was made in the 1920s

was just a guess. And then the subject went dormant until the 1980s. And then suddenly, and you can see this,

there were no books written about it. There was nothing talked about it. Then in the 80s,

it became a cottage industry to talk about the Spanish flu with ever escalating death counts.

And I think everybody is aware, if you think this through,

the very foundation for what we're going through today is the story of the Spanish food.

They had been beating us over the head with this psychologically for the last 40 years,

telling us, oh, that flu was bad. It could come back. We got to be prepared. That's the basis for everything

that's going on today. So it's very important to understand what happened during the Spanish flu.

Number one, World War I was going on. There were a few food shortages in Europe so severe that there were over 300 major reported food riots in Germany during World War I.

That's just the big riots.

That's just the ones that got reported.
