Hi, Gary Steerman time time for another update from Prophecy Watchers.

0:26.0

And I'm very pleased to have in studio today, Ken Johnson.

0:31.0

Of course, Ken is an author whose books we have featured for many, many years.

0:36.0

Ken, your latest book, Ancient Testaments of the Patriarchs,

0:41.0

it's amazing. I love this book. And welcome to Prophecy Watchers. Thank you. Good to have you here

0:47.9

because talking to you is unlike talking to anybody else we speak to. You are, I don't know quite how to describe you,

0:56.6

but you love to delve into the dark corners, dark recesses of history, and bring out little

1:02.5

1:07.8

very curious, and I love prophecy and anything that might be connected

1:45.1

and the tribulation and all kinds of things like that. The patriarchs, you think of as people who were directed

1:55.4

by God to set up a historical pattern that would result in the formation of the nation, Israel,

2:02.9

at some point.

2:04.7

But you don't think of them as people.

2:07.8

And like when I think of the Apostle Paul, I think of a human being because his personality comes through his epistles.

2:14.6

And he, you know, he expresses emotion, so forth and so on.

2:18.3

I've never thought about the patriarchs in that particular way until I read this book

2:26.3

and suddenly they came alive. They are real people and this is amazing.
