There are many prophecies of the end times.

It's good to be here.

And we're going to spend the next half hour or so

talking about those ancient prophetic sources

that up until recently have been sort of left alone.

They have lain there in the dusty cupboards and cabinets and

lockers of history and you found them. You pulled them out and you've sort of made a specialty

of looking at them. And let's begin here with one of your books called ancient church Fathers, what the disciples of the apostles

taught. Think about that phrase for a minute, the disciples of the apostles. We read the apostles,

but what do we know about the disciples of the apostles? And that's where you come in.

Yeah, I went to several different denominations as a child and realized there's quite a bit of difference.

And so what I wanted to do is if there are any people that were eyewitnesses of the 12 apostles

or their parents maybe knew of the apostles directly, What did they talk about? And what I found

out is that the first 200 years everybody pretty much taught the same thing on the things

that our denominations disagree on.

Hmm. Pretty much the same things. Give us an example of that. Well, they were all all millennial, or excuse me,

not a millennial, but premillennial. They all believed in a seven-year period and a rapture

and a literal antichrist, looking forward to the second coming literal return of our Lord.

They all taught the same thing on how you get saved,

what salvation process is, the gifts of the spirit, prophecies, cults, you know, what the cults do.

And then you have the Gnostics that come along in the second century and they're attacked as heretics.
