What do you know about the Book of Enoch?

Well today, Well, today you're going to find out about the book of Enoch and how important it is in several different ways.

And we have the author of the ancient book of Enoch.

His name is Ken Johnson. You've seen it before. Many of you have.

And he is a very, very interesting author because he goes where nobody else dares to tread.

And thanks for being with us today. Thank you. The ancient book of Enoch. Now, it is ancient.

It's sort of laid in the dust bins for centuries until it was discovered. And let's talk

about that. Well, the book of Jude quotes the book of Enoch and says that Enoch gave prophecy.

And the church fathers talk about this book of Enoch that he wrote that has pre-flood history

to it, prophecy about end times and a lot of other things.

And so the book has laid dormant for a long time.

It's in the Ethiopian canon and R.H. Charles finally translated it into English

and I believe the 1800s. And by the way, I've got my old beat-up and R.H. Charles, this one was

1917 copyright. And again, I have gotten a lot out of it, but not as much as when I read Ken's book, the ancient

Book of Enoch.

Well, after the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, parts of the book of Enoch were discovered,

so we know now it's not just Ethiopic.

It does actually go back way far in the past.

And there were other texts found with it that the R.H. Charles version doesn't have.

So I wanted to compile and create a modern English version because of the prophecy parts

so we could easily understand them.

And you have done so.
