The episode you're about to listen to was released back when the mere Christians podcast was called the call to mastery

0:08.9

Now if you love mere Christians, you're still going to love these older episodes because the majority of each

0:15.6

conversation focuses on how the gospel influences the work of our guests. With that disclaimer out of the way, please enjoy the episode. Hey everyone welcome to the call to mastery. I'm Jordan Rayner. This is a

0:35.6

podcast for Christians who want to do their most exceptional work for the glory of God

0:40.7

and the good of others. Every single week on hosting a conversation

0:44.2

with somebody who is following Jesus Christ, apprenticing

0:47.4

themselves to Jesus Christ, and who's also pursuing world-class mastery of

0:51.9

their vocation of their jobs. We talk about

0:54.2

each guest's path to mastering their thing, we talk about their daily habits and

1:25.9

1:30.8

producer of the most recent Narnia movies with Disney and Doug's now

1:35.2

working on this Narnia series with Netflix. Doug read Kelly's book and devoured it

1:42.0

has loved everything that she's written and if that's not a great

1:46.0

endorsement for fiction I don't know what is I could think a few people more qualified to

1:51.5

judge great fiction than the heir to the Lewis estate.

1:55.2

So Kelly and I had a very fun conversation that you're about to hear.

1:58.6

We talked about the epic dinner I had with Doug Gresham in in London and a couple of buddies of mine that led to him loving Kelly's work in her book.
