Welcome back. We continue our conversation with She Van Fleet, the author of Mous America,

A Survivor's Warning. Again, she, hard to believe you lived through this period of the

cultural revolution, one of the most evil things in history. It's hard for people to believe

how wicked it was. You live through it. Now you see it happening in America. Let me ask you, you know, you said you came to this country in 1986,

and what were you doing, you know, in the last decades? Were you aware of these things?

Were you thinking about these things? Or were you just going about your life? And then suddenly,

more recently, you said you have to tell this story?

Yes, I think that's what I said.

I just paid no attention thinking that the freedom is always there.

And I did not realize that our freedom is only one generation away from disappearing.

So that is the mistake that I made that I did not tell even my family

and my friends, my co-worker, about the history, the history that becomes so relevant to

America. So that's a mistake I made, and I take that responsibility. In America, the history of communism, the history of Chinese cultural revolution were not taught.
