Hello listeners and welcome to the first episode of a new series I'll be producing here on night time

Let me start with a bit of background since launching this show now nearly seven years ago

I've set out to highlight and explore the more fascinating and the lesser known Canadian people places and events

During the show's history I've tried to accomplish this in a variety of ways

I've done some documentary style episodes

Episodes that were based around interviews. I've hosted regularly scheduled live call-in shows

And of course, I've dabbled in deep dive multi-partners

Well in this new series I plan to mix all those styles together and set the show's focus specifically on current events

But not any current events this series will be both in exploration and a celebration of all the weird unique and unusual stories

That have been unfolding over the prior week

To help me out along the way. I've invited my good friend bandmate and an all-around great guy to co-host the series with me
