A crazy Karen living below us is constantly making false noise complaints about me and my boyfriend,

0:05.7

claiming that we're screaming at each other and throwing things around our apartment on a daily

0:09.8

basis. But after dealing with this for several months, as well as complaining to the property

0:14.2

manager herself, me and my boyfriend have found no relief from this crazy Karen, and we are

0:18.9

seriously now at our breaking point. Here's what

0:21.2

happened. So last July, my boyfriend and I moved into a second-story apartment in a complex.

0:26.4

All was fine until about two weeks in when I got a call from the office about a noise complaint

0:30.7

from my downstairs neighbor. I've never received a noise complaint in my life, so I'm kind of

0:35.3

taken aback. The office manager at the time tells me that

0:38.3

my downstairs neighbor didn't give any information about what the noises she heard were, or what time

0:43.8

they occurred or anything like that. So I think to myself, whatever, I'm just going to try and move on

0:48.1

with my life. That is, until mid-September. I'm trying to dye my hair at about 10 o'clock p.m. And my boyfriend goes to grab

0:54.5

something for me from another room. He moves my desk chair to the side, and then suddenly we hear a

0:59.2

banging noise. And we come to find out that the downstairs neighbor was actually banging a broomstick

1:04.3

on her ceiling, which is my floor, just so she could try and make a shut up. Now, this obviously

1:09.2

annoys us, but we just let it go. I finish up

1:11.5

my hair and then we go to bed. Except this continues for several weeks. If we drop something, we hear a

1:16.9

banging noise. If we walk across our apartment or if we sit down too hard, or if the desk chair

1:21.9

rolls across the hardwood floor, we hear her banging on her ceiling. In early November, my boyfriend

1:27.1

catches COVID and stays home for a few days.

1:29.8

One night, he gets up to get some medicine and he accidentally drops the bottle. The next day,

1:34.6

we were visited by two staff members from the office about another noise complaint, stating that
