My entitled Karen of a Neighbor is constantly complaining about where I parked my car,

claiming that I'm violating a bunch of city ordinances by parking my car legally on the street.

So I decided to get some revenge by quite literally turning the tables and getting her in

trouble for parking in front of a fire hydrant.

Here's what happened.

Okay, so a couple of months ago, I had a run in with a self-appointed homeowner's

association enforcer of my neighborhood, and for the sake of the story, we'll call her Linda.

For context, I don't live in an HOA community, but Linda likes to pretend that we do. She's the

kind of person who leaves passive-aggressive notes on the car, or knocks on the door to complain

about lawn height, and even calls the city for violations

that don't actually exist. The issue started because I parked my car on the street in front of my

house, which is, by the way, perfectly legal, and I've been doing it for years without any complaints.

But apparently, Linda decided that my car was an eyesore. And one day, I found a note tucked under

my windshield. The note said,

this is not a parking lot. Parking your driveway like a respectful neighbor. Don't make me involve the city.

Now, the note annoyed me, but I shrugged it off and I kept parking where I always do. But apparently,

that wasn't good enough for Linda, because the next time she confronted me in person, she said to me, I've told you before parking on the street is inconsiderate. You have a driveway and you need to use it. Well, I looked at her and I said, it is legal to park here and I'm not blocking anything. Linda looked at me and said, it doesn't matter. It's ugly and makes the neighborhood look bad. Parking your driveway or I will report you.

So it was decided right then and there. Fine. If she really wants me to park in my driveway,

then I will park in my driveway. But I will follow every single rule to the letter. You see,

my driveway is small. If I can park my car in it, it blocks the sidewalk. Technically, it's against city ordinances

to obstruct the sidewalks. So the next day, I pulled my car right into my driveway perfectly

centered. And guess what? It completely blocked the sidewalk. Well, it didn't take long for Linda
