And entitled Karen demands that I do her job every morning at the hotel that we work at,

claiming that if I didn't do exactly as she said, she would personally get me fired.

But after I refused to give in to this stupid Karen's demands, this Karen actually tried to get

me fired only for her to get fired herself.

And I've honestly never been happier to see somebody go in my life.

Here's what happened.

Okay, so I had a coworker who we will call Bessie, who had been working in this hotel for

15 years as the breakfast attendant for the little buffet we have here.

If you've ever been to a Holiday Inn Express or a Best Western, then you have a very clear

idea of what I'm talking about.

In all of those years, Bessie has been able to bully every night auditor

into doing half the breakfast setup before she arrives. Bessie had them setting out or refilling

cold and dry food, as well as condiments, plates, plastic wear, and all sorts of other stuff

at three in the morning. If it wasn't all done when she came in at four, there would be all

sorts of yelling, screaming, and threats of being

fired. She had convinced the 22-year-olds working overnight that she had that control when

she didn't even manage her department. It was the sales manager that did the breakfast scheduling

and ordering, and the houseman was in charge of taking out the kitchen trash. So Bessie only had to

do half of her actual job on any given morning. Well, that is until I

showed up. The management company that owns the hotel hired me to run night audit at two of their

locations. And at no other hotel I've ever worked at in the last 19 years had night audits doing
