full deep dive into his personality and what we can see from the internet.

The first thing I'll say is that I cannot diagnose from afar, no ethical clinician can because it's

impossible to really know what's really going on. When you are looking at

someone through the pinhole of the internet you don't really know who they are.

When I assess people's, particularly when it comes to something like a personality disorder,

I have to work with people for weeks before I can confidently

even begin to hypothesize about a personality disorder for that person. Just reading the criteria in the DSM is not a

effective way of diagnosing people. You know, it's like, well, you know, they seem grandiose,

they seem this and that.

And so it's very important and people go to school for years and years learning how to diagnose.

And the internet just thinks they can read the DSM and diagnose.

Now there are some things that you could probably get away with as a lay person diagnosing

from without being a clinician.

Certain anxiety disorders may be depression is pretty easy, major depressive disorder is pretty easy to diagnose, but beyond that it's really hard.

So, there's that. I'm not going to diagnose from afar. I never have and I never will.
