And this is a listener mailbag special with our subscribers to The Athletic asking the

questions.

It was that or trying to work out what's going to happen in the Roper Conference.

I think we definitely decided we'd do the questions instead.

Before we get to those, though, I'm afraid, and there's a distant clanging of sort of mission

bells in the background, we have to get the very latest on the Harry Kane situation.

Has anybody got any updates? The last I saw was that Cittier now finally knuckling down to the

idea of 150 million quid

and then Levy's going, well, don't forget the add-ons chaps.

That has not been communicated to Tottenham yet.

I mean, as it stands on Thursday afternoon, there's not really much news.

Harry Kane is back in full training at Spurs, at Spurs training ground in Enfield.

He didn't travel to Portugal for the Europa Conference League game against Pacosta Ferreira.

Tottenham, as I understand it, have not yet got a second improved bid from Manchester City.

Their position remains that even if that bid does come along,

they will still say no to it. So Kane, I think, is still where he's been all summer, which is

really waiting for City and Tottenham, hoping that City in Tottenham can reach an agreement,

but to be honest, without much cause for optimism that they will. Charlie, at what stage, um,
