There was really only one reason for Kamala Harris to do the interview with Brett Baer on Fox News that

everybody is talking about. And it's really quite simple. She's trying to fire up her base.

The early voting has started. They need a massive early vote turnout. And they need to, in some

fashion over the next two and a half weeks, find a way to motivate their key voters to make sure

that every single one of them votes. That's it. That's the bottom line. They're doing that. There is

no way this moved anybody in the middle, no independence for watching this thing and going,

oh, she's for me. I like what she stands for because she doesn't say what she stands for.

It was a complete hit job on Donald Trump. It was red meat for anyone on the left. And anybody

that saw anything else in this interview can't help you. Now, it's real simple. We've seen the

reaction. You've seen the clips. You maybe watched the entire interview. Kamala Harris was not good.

Brett Bear stumbled over her a thousand times. I don't give either one of them very good grades,

to be honest. I'll give Brett Bear a C plus and Kamala a C minus. She went in looking for a fight.

The joy is gone. She wanted to be angry and bitter and blame it all on Trump. She wanted to reach the people

whose lives are miserable that are reliable Democrat voters that feel like the system is out to get

them and nobody will help them. And maybe the Democrats will, but damn sure isn't going to be Donald

Trump because he's mean and awful and terrible and unfit and all these other

horrible things, unstable. And Connolly just kept pounding that and pounding that and pounding

that. It was dog whistling. It was red meat. It was anything you want to call it. But it was

certainly no appeal to anyone in the middle or anybody undecided.

I don't know who's in the middle anymore.
