We might have been long enough ago that we were still hoping for our own teams to survive.

I can't even remember now.

But it's been a journey.

Red Sox didn't make it.

Guardians didn't make it. Then I thought maybe the Mariners would have a shot Sox didn't make it. Guardians didn't make it.

And I very briefly, we're recording this on Sunday.

I very briefly after game one was like, maybe the Jays can do this.

I jokingly, in the auto news slack, I jokingly said when the game got out of hand,

if Dave Roberts is smart, he'll burn his entire bullpen tonight so he can't use them tomorrow.

And then he didn't use them the next day and it works really well so yeah as long as they can keep throwing complete games

they'll be fine yeah there's just so much talent on the daughter side it's baseball you know anything

can happen uh you get sherser on the mound who would you want want more than Max Scherzer? Maybe in 2025, a handful of guys.

But yeah. In that game against the Mariners, that was, I was at that game. That was the game I went to for the ALCS.
