I'm Pete Ball, your host today, normally joined by Chad Young. But as you know,

at least our dedicated listeners would have noticed by now. We haven't had an episode in quite a few

weeks, I don't know, like three or four weeks now. I wish it was for some exciting reason.

It's just more Chad and I have had very busy summers. We're having a hard time linking up,

particularly in the weekends, which is when

we record most of the time. So here for episode, I think 174, that sounds about right. I will not be with

chat. I'm going to fly a little solo today. I want to look at a few things. First of all,

we're going to do the head-to-head here over the week. I'll get into who that is in just a second.

We're going to talk about the MLB trade deadline.

Now I'm willing to bet if you listen to this podcast, you listen to a lot of fantasy baseball podcasts,

and all of them have already talked about the MLB trade deadline.

But we, on Keeper Cut, as usual, are going to talk about them from a keeper league perspective

which oftentimes will carry over to otnu as well which is a interesting form of a keeper

league where it's more cost association that dollar or dollar values I should say as opposed to

round values on otter new but the same sort of information should translate to both your Keeper

leagues and Ottenu leagues and Dynasty leagues as well.

We're going to look at some of the players whose values may have changed in one direction

or another and sort of like the domino effect of the trades at the trade deadline when we get

to that.

In time permitting at the end, I want to look at some players who, in my mind, the last month and few weeks here, we got plenty of weeks left here in August, about three or four weeks left in August, and then the whole month of September, who are the players who I'm looking at and thinking, like, man, their keeper value could change dramatically in one

direction or another. Obviously any players could if there was an injury. But I'm talking like,
