Charlie Pooth says he was ghosted by Ellen DeGeneres' record label.

So he spoke out after fellow songwriter Grayson Chants recently alleged that the opportunistic

comedian completely abandoned him.

Now, this is what Charlie had to say on the latest episode of Rolling Stone Music now.

He goes, we both have different experiences, me versus Grayson.

But I do agree with him that no one was present, certainly after the creation of my first

demo EP.

Now, Charlie was signed to the short-lived record label in 2011.

He goes, not putting any blame on one person, but from a collective, all the people that

were in that room, they just disappeared.

I didn't hear from anybody.

Now he clarified that he never personally discussed any of these feelings with Ellen,

knowing that he didn't find a problem with her allegedly toxic personality.

He goes on to say, people describe Ellen as rude.

I've never experienced that.

And this is obviously referencing allegations that she was manipulative behind the scenes.

And that our daytime talk show is a toxic workplace.

And he goes, maybe she likes me.

So as somebody who works in Musicmo and you've had an EP come out, like when you're working

with people, have you ever experienced anything like this?

No, because it's a little different with me because I do everything independently.
