Uh, pretty good episode.

You know, we've been following this gun.

I mean, this is classic, justified, classic Elmer Leonard.

We've been following this gun, Pachinkoing all over the board,

who's got it, when they've got it, who gave it to who,

and then Tomo gets his hands on it and just throws it out of window into the river.

Which is what was supposed to happen to it, what, way back in episode 2?

And so now, what, so now how do we take you know what what kind of situation has

Rayland got himself into by the end of this episode. There's a couple things that I'm not

sure is tracking but I'm also not willing to take the show to task on it because honestly I've missed a couple things in the last few weeks

Like completely forgot the listener pointing out that Carolyn had instructed

Tranel to hide the gun from both Sweetie and Clem a few episodes back so of course it wasn't there to jukebox and it wasn't underneath the bar.

There's a couple of others but it's like so it's like I don't know if everything absolutely connects. And also still it's, I don't know, I guess the implication of this judge book is it goes all the way to the top and like everyone who's anyone in Detroit is connected to it.

Seems like it yeah. Yeah. But I don't know that's I guess that's the big thing I

don't know that you can tell a federal officer, we're corrupt

as fuck down here and doing whatever we want with evidence, what are you going to do about

it? And actually that be, I mean that's something, you know, this book is originally about it like I think either

Private Eye or an out-of-town detective passing through on vacation or something.

You might be able to get away with doing that, just some jurist my addiction

crap, but a marshal? And a federal judge is killed over it? I feel like somebody is going to take a
