Today we are doing Sola Fide, which means faith alone.

The solos of the Reformation are these alone phrases that Protestants often cling to as sort of a good summary of their central teachings and doctrines.

We are doing this series in order to explain part of the way of how these solas came about, why they

were important during the Reformation, and why they are important today, sort of give a peek

into their development, sort of cover why they may not be super frequently used, actually, by the magisterial reformers themselves in certain

cases and in other cases they are used quite frequently and then why they today remain as sort of

slogans or work together for a slogan for the reformation for Lutherans and those in other Reformation traditions.
