Well, at 6.42 p.m., the breaking news in this country

became the fact that the United States Supreme Court ruled that Donald Trump's deportation

of Kilmar, Armando Abrago-Garcia was and is illegal.

In the second sentence of a Supreme Court ruling on the case, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote, Abrago Garcia was subject to a withholding order forbidding his removal to El Salvador

and that the removal to El Salvador was therefore illegal.

The court sent the case back to the federal district court judge in Maryland, where the case began,

saying that that judge's order, quote, properly requires the government to facilitate Abrago-Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador,

and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador.
