He was a goofy, bright, and full of potential guy.

He was someone that his friends described as a golden retriever, the loyal, sweet, and endlessly optimistic kind.

Yeah, and he was someone who was also coming into his own. So after struggling early in college,

Jason had transferred to Texas State University and things were starting to click for him.

He was looking ahead to the holidays at the time.
