Hello listeners, and welcome back to my multi-part series investigating the death of then seven-year-old Sia Van Wick.

During the prior three episodes in the series, we learned a lot about Sia, her family, the events that surround her death,

and the man driving the tractor that killed her.

But up until this point, the police investigation to see his death was only discussed in a general sense.

Tonight, we're going to take a lot closer to look at it.

As we've mentioned already, there have not been charges laid against Roland Potter related to Sia's death.

Officially, this was just a tragic accident that was not criminal in nature.

But as we have also mentioned, Sia's parents firmly believed the original investigation was fundamentally flawed.

So flawed that they've had to dedicate their time, their money, and their lives to seeking a full reinvestigation and justice for their daughter.

To this end, Sia's family turned to Martin and associates' private investigation firm to conduct a complete review of the case.

Well, when you hear about it, you'll see why they're so steadfast in their beliefs about the initial work done by law enforcement.

Seven-year-old Sia Van Wick was full of life and adventure.

She was playing in a neighbor's hayfield in Clemens Vale near Digby on July 19th when she was struck by a piece of farm machinery.

Sia died hours later from her injuries.
